The Brisbane Premier League (BPL) has welcomed Mazda as its major partner for the inaugural season.
The BPL will provide Mazda with community engagement, brand awareness and direct B2B opportunities throughout the entire year kicking off this Sunday 1 August at Norths Cricket Club as the first round of the seniors competition gets under way.
BPL Chair Stuart Giles says the league is delighted to welcome a brand like Mazda as its inaugural major partner.
“The BPL is a very unique commercial proposition with over 800 amateur players playing across six age groups, so we’ve had a lot of commercial interest in the BPL since we launched late last year. It’s very pleasing to have now finalised our partnership with Mazda. They are an iconic brand and we can’t wait to develop a close working relationship with the team here in Queensland.”
Mazda Queensland State Manager Luke Bell says Mazda is proud to be named major partner of the Brisbane Premier League.
“Mazda is honoured to play a role in giving aspiring cricketers a pathway to achieving their sporting dreams and building the next generation of cricket legends,” says Bell.
“Mazda has always been a big supporter of sport in Australia, with a number of longstanding sponsorships across professional sporting codes. The BPL partnership gives us an opportunity to have an impact at a grassroots level and to give back to the communities in which we operate.”
Mazda branding will feature on key match day assets along with the playing apparel of over 800 players across all age groups in the BPL.
“Mazda will play a key role in the delivery of our match day experience. We also have a very diverse group of league and team owners who present a great opportunity for Mazda to engage with and present unique B2B opportunities. We have long term plans to expand into other states and we look forward to taking Mazda on that journey around Australia,” says Giles.
