As the Brisbane Premier League (BPL) gears up for its almighty inaugural season, today they are proud to announce their venue partnership with the Queensland Cricketers’ Club (QCC).
The QCC has been part of Brisbane’s sports and leisure scene for over 60 years having welcomed sporting fans to witness incredible action with breathtaking views from their stunning three-level premises.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome iconic venue the QCC as an inaugural league partner of the BPL. We are looking forward to working with Lachie and his team who have set an incredibly high standard when it comes to events, functions and game day experiences,” says healthcare entrepreneur Stuart Giles.
The partnership includes a range of initiatives such as branding on the playing shirt of all 800 BPL players, and gives any of the eight franchises access to use their facilities for team events. It will also see the QCC prepare and deliver high quality catering options at BPL matches for players, families and fans of the league at venues right across South East Queensland, all of which start on Sunday 1 August.
“We love everything about the new Brisbane Premier League because we are passionate about cricket and the future of the game. We saw it first-hand when the BPL hosted their inaugural auction at the QCC back in March: the colour, excitement and atmosphere in the room that night was outstanding. We are very much looking forward to being an inaugural partner and supporting the BPL across all their future events and matches,” says QCC CEO Lachlan Furnell.
The BPL will call the QCC home for all BPL run events including the BPL awards night and 2022 BPL auction, with details to come in due course.
